I do have friends that can go with me. I really am OK, I promise. She's been going in and out the dog door tonight a lot, which my vet said indicates she's probably in pain and looking for a place to be comfortable. I just gave her another pain pill. That tells me again it's time. She's so uncomfortable. I'll be OK! And If I need someone to go with me I really will get someone. Thanks again for the thoughts.

That's a good thought Andrea. I had Pat drive me to Dr. Lisa's when it was 
Sugar's turn to go.  I'm not sure I could have made it back on my own.  I
was in BAD shape. Chris - my mother has never gotten over losing Princess 
(our Manchester terrier) and that was 25 years ago.  She'll never have
another animal and that is too bad.  She's never been the same.
