I paid $275 for mine but it's a 9 mm and came with some extra magazines. A
small revolver would be less. Check with a local reputable dealer as they
will have used ones. Mine was.

$300 up? I think maybe I'll stick with the shotgun.

How long do shotgun shells last? Somebody told me "forever" but that doesn't

seem reasonable. We haven't used it in about a dozen years. I think I need 
to refresh it, and find a range on which to practice, too.
