that is not as bad as I had thought. My husband had one while he was on the job in Illinois. He could stay online and in touch while he was out in the middle of a field or anywhere. He loved it. It sure does free you up.

Unlimited use and it adds $50.00 to my Sprint cell phone bill every month.
As much as I use my computer and the internet, it is SO worth it to me. And 
I can use it ANYwhere which is GREAT.

Can I ask how much are your air cards and who do you have them with?  We
just had a tower go down close to me.... due to vandalism... someone cut the tower lines that hold it up. Now I am having trouble with my internet and 
they told me that they are going to have to slow down my speed while they
reroute my service.
I am on the road so much more now that an air card might be just what I
should do.

have so MANY. It does save you a LOT of money, and you don't have shelves 
and shelves of books to collect dust (I have allergies to dust mites and
paper mites), you can take it anywhere and read.  I think it's AWESOME.
And Tricia...with six kids...I learned to text because that is all they
DO.
Texting is a way of life with them.  My husband refuses to do that.  But
if
it helps me keep in touch with my son who is a Marine, or the kids while
they are in college, then I'll do it. And my oldest grandchild will pick
up
her mother's cell phone and call Nana and Pops - just to chat. She knows 
how to work a cell phone better than I do (she is five years old).
And we live out in the country and can't get high speed internet - dial up 
is the pits.  It was connected to our land-line.  When storms hit out
here,
our land line phone goes out half the time.  But my cell phone still
works.
It just made more sense for us to cancel it and use our cell.  We have a
family plan on the cell, and two "air cards" so we can connect with high
speed internet on our laptops.  Going back to college and taking on-line
classes has been a major plus for me.  I don't have to go to the college
2-3
nights a week, I can work at home or on my lunch hour at work.
New technology has all kinds of bonuses.  I just don't want to forget
about
the "finer" things in life, like an actual hand-written note, or slowing
down and enjoying life a bit.

become more common.  It's basically an electronic book.  You order the
book,
it's sent to your Kindel and you read it on this device.  The world is
beginning to go paperless and more electronic.  I don't buy albums
anymore...I just order the album on i-Tunes and download it to my i-Pod. 
The next thing will be an increase in vision problems at a younger age
because people stare at computer monitors all the time.  I try to keep
up
with modern technology so it doesn't zoom past me and leave me helpless. 
My
parents can't function well in this techno world of ours.
