Mini blinds are not the same as curtains. You can have mini-blinds, and
still need or want curtains. I have mini blinds on my windows, and curtains
as well. The thick fabric of the drapes help keep the cold and hot air
outside. I can't afford to replace all of my windows right now, so until
then, drapes and heavy curtains can keep me a bit warmer in the winter and
cooler in the summer. Drapes/Curtains can add color and style to your
room. And the old fashioned mini-blinds are huge dust collectors. My
allergies revolt against that. The mini-blinds I have are the honeycomb
fabric kind that you can vacuum easily and they are better insulated.
(too much info?)
