I will try and remember to ask my Son about LaGrange, TN. I am sure
he would know the history. Grant is buried in Louisville, KY home of my son.
My son's last book is about ghost stories of the Civil War.... speaking of
those blood stains.
He was just down in Nashville for some big book fair where authors
set up booths.
More snow in the forecast and we have to travel north this
weekend....
Supplies coming in for the greenhouse... today it was liquid seaweed. 4
gallons of concentrate.

From: owner-gardenchat@hort.net [o*@hort.net] On Behalf
Of Zemuly I'm sure your son is familiar with my town, LaGrange, TN. General
Grant
stayed here with his wife during the "wawa." He wrote very favorably about
us in his diary. My church, Immanuel Episcopal, was used as a federal
hospital during that time, and one of the homes here, which was also a
hospital, still has blood stains on the dining room floor.
