Oh I know they are! I plant the marigolds around the perimeter and white cosmos, basil, fennel and lime balms in between all the pepper plants. The herbs have such a strong scent that all the bad buggies can't find my peppers to eat them, but the cosmos, fennel and marigolds draw all kinds of lovely pollinator buggies that do very good things indeed. And it give the whole bed kind of an eclectic look which is kind of cool. Love it!!
