RE: show of hands re: health care

This nursing shortage has been going on for many years, or so I've heard. 
I read that at one time, I think in the 90s, some immigration quotas were
cut for the Irish to allow more from other countries.  However, Irish
nurses were allowed extended visas because we desperately needed them.
