Re: Re: fat birdies

Pam, I know what you mean. We recently ate at a great Italian place here,
and I ordered "Fruit of the Sea". I was all ready to enjoy the clams,
mussels, shrimp, scallops, etc., when I noticed a tiny little octopus
sitting legs up in the middle of the bowl. Well, I thought, ok, I'll just
put it aside and enjoy this dish. But it was mostly octopus (octopi?)! I
ate it, but every bite went down thinking about all those legs; I just
couldn't put my taste buds above my brain and enjoy it. Other than being
leggy, it was a little tough, so I decided to always ask before ordering in
future.
