funny. not quite common, but seen. i drove around a bit yesterday to see what had and had not been covered by neighbors and what they had used. there is a wholesale nursery supply house in sarasota that had been heavily advertising that it was selling frost-fabric "to the public" this year, and i was curious to see if anyone had taken them up on it. i didn't see much of it. mostly old bed sheets and pillow cases and beach towels. i did see some shirts, but none buttoned up.

Jim, in our Des Moines paper today a photo appeared which appears to be of a home landscape. The shrubs/plants are wearing short sleeve shirts buttoned tightly around them for protection against the cold. Is this common protection in Florida?
