RE: California plants

Darn- too bad she doesn't have the plant list online. She does do mail
order of deer resistant varieties! I'm going to order the list. Thanks,

Theresa

Theresa, I don't know why I didn't think of this before. Check out
www.fcgardens.com. It is the site of a woman in Grass Valley who runs a
nursery and classes at her property. Order the plant list which you will
find on the website -- it is full of wonderful information and plant
selections and most of it will be applicable to you in Sacramento. It gets
plenty hot here in the summer. The last time I was there she had a
beautiful yellow clematis (I think I have this right) growing in a very hot
location and everyone was amazed. I don't think she does mail order plants,
but she has a wonderful selection at her home if you ever wanted to visit.
