Well, it's certainly a characteristic of whatever species I've got.
It's gone down about 3' and under a railroad tie retaining wall to
come up in the parking area.
While I enjoy my bamboo and it provides me with an unending supply of
bamboo for stakes and poles to support my deer netting, I wouldn't
trust it any farther than I could throw an elephant with one hand
tied behind my back. Once you let a running bamboo loose, it will go
where it wants to and you will be working in control mode forever.
A buried 1/2" thick steel plate about 5' high with all joints welded
might...possibly might....control it, but I wouldn't trust anything
else:-)
