RE: habitat etc now cold

I can identify with that.  We slept in and still woke up to -10 F.  The snow
we had earlier was a good packing snow and kids were very inventive in their
use of it around here, too.  This last snow Thursday in Friday a.m., it was
too cold to pack and so it is loose and blowing everywhere.  Our high today
should be 14 or so, but here it is 11:00a.m. at -4.  I don't think we'll
make the predicted high!

An article in today's paper showed an igloo some teenagers built, complete
with electric lights, stereo, space heater, crockpot and chimney.  This time
of year the normal high is supposed to be 31; today's high may reach 9 with
windchills as low as -23.
