?? You don't have to TELL them you have caller ID. It only shows on your end. Look at it this way:
Would your relatives, if they came to visit you, think that you were
rude if you looked through the privacy peep-hole in your front door
before you opened it after they knocked? That's what caller ID is.
They ring you up (knock),
you read the display (peep),
you pick up the receiver and say 'hello' (open the door and say hello)
