Yes Libby, it's the dry version of C/D. I don't like to give her much
soft food, not good for their teeth. She LOVES it. I didn't even know it
came in cans. It's enough of a trial getting her in every three years
for a teeth cleaning - I don't want to do it every year except for
quickie shots and checkup and back home. Dr. Lisa prefers the dry food
as well, for dental reasons. If your vet doesn't carry the bags (4 lbs.
c. 11 bucks) of dry, another vet should.
Or maybe your vet can order it. It has been a lifesaver for my baby. No more UTI.

The vet gave (sold) me 3 different foods to try. Darn cat won't eat
either of the canned ones (one of them is the C/D) - and she's hungry,
too. She'll eat the pouch one sometimes. Sounds like Sugar might have a
dry version of C/D? Cassie likes dry food, too, maybe I'll see of they
have that.

Libby - we have Sugar on the prescription C/D food from the vet and it's
worked wonders for her. Is that what you're trying now? Just remember it
is VERY rich so you'll have to cut down the amount you feed. My vet gave
me a little measuring cup to use when we put her on a diet a few years
back.
