Donna, for my birthday last year my Thai friend, Reka, made me such a gift.
She sliced the top off the melon, scooped out the insides. She carved the
top like a flower for a lid and leafes on the body of the melon, then refilled
it with a mixture of marinated fruit. What a treat!
