RE: drought

Actually I have not tested the bulbine outside yet, it's living in a pot I
moved into the greenhouse. But I do plan on putting some of it outside in
the spring, it has grown so well I can spare a number of cuttings, and we'll
see what happens next winter.
Come to that I have an extra pot of it right now that's doing well, maybe I
will try putting it on the porch outside now.

Pam, most plants around here in the ground I can't easily dig as early as
you need them, but I do have some things in pots you might be able to use.
Also, in the house I have a Bulbine 'Hallmark' you might like. It's hardy
for Cyndi, so maybe it would be for you too. It's a something of a
succulent, so would be able to handle your conditions. I uncover my pots at
the end of March and if you need anything, would be glad to send.

Kitty
