Re: gas and electricity


People who live in Memphis & Shelby County get a combined bill from Memphis Light, Gas & Water. I am billed by three different companies, one for each utility. Incidentally, my gas bill for December was $102 -- up from $63 in December 2004. I usually keep the temp between 60-65 during the day and at 55 at night.

Interesting! Mine are combined on the same bill though itemized. They are controlled by the same company...Pacific Gas and Electric....alias PG&E.

Yes. I didn't know they were combined anywhere, being supplied in different
ways. Gas is Nipsco and Elec is American Electric Power.
