Does this apply to all hollies? I have 3 Ilex verticillata that I have to sex. Female trees have flowers with a small green cone in the center. Male trees have tiny white filaments with yellow tips poking out from the bloom's center. In addition, to have a bush/tree full of berries, the female and male trees need to be blooming at the same time.
