Re: NE roll call- check in please

We're both better. Chet is really doing better than he had been for
a while -I think this had been coming on for a long time.

I have just completed my second month of doxycycline for the Lyme,
and feel that it is better. I have some other issues that must be checked
out but the Lyme came first. Of course the infectious disease
specialist said he didn't think it was really Lyme - there are lots of
false positives out there. What impresses me most is that the
numerous doctors I have seen for Lyme never offer me any alternative
diagnosis. In other words it seems to me they think I am just
malingering - which I assure you is not the case. I have been struggling
with this off and on for more than fifteen years - no one wants to admit
that Lyme disease exists. It's a political issue here - the developers, I
guess think it would not be good for business if it were really known how
prevalent this plague is. Forgive the rant.

This crazy weather gets more and more bizarre. I found daffodils up
today and I assure you that is not normal in January in this area. I fear
that we will have a cold spring - but who knows what will happen
