Hmm-- I guess I never felt very traumatized about being short. Actually I rather like it. I learned really early that I could get away with things that other's would be nailed for, just because I'm small (and presumably innocent I guess). To this day, I'm able to say what needs to be said and not have people get as ruffled as they would if someone of a larger stature would. And yes, I've used this to my advantage from time to time.
