Marcella's mom was gray with a lot of undertones. The litter contained four kittens, one gray tabby male, Marcella, a tuxedo male and a calico female. Sadly, only the tabby Jabez is still alive today.

An orange (the cat fancy calls them red) female must have had both red parents. An orange female can only produce red males, but it takes a red male and a redfemale to produce red female offspring.
