Thanks. I'll ask my Dad if he still has it. He's been cleaning lately, but has had decades worth of SciAm. (He gave the first several decades worth to Princeton in the 60's , but kept lots of the rest. )

Nothing--or everything, depending on your religious orientation--is unusual about cats. Some years ago, Scientific American had a major take-out on the migration of calico cat genes from [roughly] the area of Turkey and Armenia into western Europe. I wish I'd saved it; amazing stuff.
