well the best thing your daughter can do is stay put.  

The ride home tonight
was very aggrivating.  They have been forecasting this weather for us for
days- it finally arrived as ice and snow around 1:30..... you would think by 6
they would have the salt/snow plows out on the main roads.... you guessed it,
no signs of them anywhere..... Stuff like that really annoys me.

LOL - I can relate.  We should be through the worst of it
by tomorrow
afternoon.  Roads should be ok by then.  South of the Red River
anyway.
