RE: Horticulture question

I grow that stuff in the bog area of my pond, it has survived the winters so
far with no extra care, kinda pretty, and of course, unusual due to the
corkscrew nature of the stems. Not invasive here. Rich in Z-5 where the
high today was 7 and expected to get to -12 tonight with the warm spell (29)
sometime Thursday. Also got about 6" of fluffy snow.

This is what I've seen called "curly rush" or corkscrew rush. I'm not
sure what the difference is between Juncus spirales and Juncus effusus
though.
At my house these can be quite invasive- so put them in a pot! I
eventually hanked mine out of the pot too- and I'm still pulling out
small starts of it occassionally.
I'm fairly certain it is unkillable.
