Re: weather

I saw on a news story last night where they were burning something in barrels along with fans and sprinklers. It looked like they were pulling out all they had.

They did indeed. The nursery where I worked here still uses smudge pots when frost is threatened. Think California did away with the pots some years ago, though. Last time I was in the groves out there in winter, they all seemed to be using overhead sprinklers.
