Jim that certainly looks like it. I've got it in the house so it looks a bit sparse at the moment compared to that one. Wasn't sure if it was hardy here. It had been left in the greenhouse at the Garden Gate and was quickly dying from lack of water and attention. After finding out if belonged to our dingy landscape designer who had left it there for over a year I "liberated" it. ;-) She, apparently, couldn't care less. Yes people, I stole it. But it's much happier now. Or at least it WAS. It's dropping a lot of leaves now. As soon as it gets a bit warmer I'm going to move it back outside. I think it will be a lot happier.

Try this, Andrea; same tree 8-9 months ago. http://davesgarden.com/pf/showimage/110760/ On Jan 23, 2007, at 8:53 PM, Andrea Hodges wrote:YAY! Wonderful news! I don't suppose you could send me a photo. I have some type of Jasmine that I got from the Garden Gate, and have no clue what the Latin is. It's about 4 feet tall and a sort of slender, woody plant and left to its own devices sends out long shoots that eventually begin to weep. It's not a vine though. The blooms are small white clusters of individual flowers and smell divine. It's definitely been limbed up, as it has no lover branches.A ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kitty" <kmrsy@comcast.net> To: <gardenchat@hort.net> Sent: Tuesday, January 23, 2007 6:46 PM Subject: Re: [CHAT] Update: Orange JasmineWonderful! As soon as I realized what the spill was doing in the jasmine, I turned the hose on it for 4 or 5 days to flush the salt out. That seems to have worked. The tree is not back to pre-salt normal, but it has new growth all over and should be back to pre-salt normal in a month or 2. Whew! Would have been a horrendous job to dig it out and replace it.Island Jim Southwest Florida 27.1 N, 82.4 W Hardiness Zone 10 Heat Zone 10 Sunset Zone 25 Minimum 30 F [-1 C] Maximum 100 F [38 C] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE GARDENCHAT--------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE GARDENCHAT--------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE GARDENCHATIsland Jim Southwest Florida 27.1 N, 82.4 W Hardiness Zone 10 Heat Zone 10 Sunset Zone 25 Minimum 30 F [-1 C] Maximum 100 F [38 C] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE GARDENCHAT
