And...duh...on that same site I just sent is an explanation of how to
connect to the internet using your cell phone.
Now all you have to do is evaluate all the various cell phone options,
plans, and vendors. Have fun...

You already have the computer and you want to use a cell phone to access
your ISP on your computer? If you don't really want a cell phone, you
could look at air cards. It is like a cell phone modem. Sort of.

I'm not up on the latest gadgets, alas, but our Blackberries here will
do the same thing simply using a USB cable from the PC to the
Blackberry. The BB has internet capability and it transfers that ability
to the PC. A cell with internet access may work the same way.

I've been a Luddite re cell phones nearly forever. So I suddenly need
to know about them--but I don't know what I need to know. Specifically,
I suppose, it would be nice to know how I can use one to connect my
computer to the net. My fingers are too fat to be comfortable with most
of them, but I may be able to find one that fits.
