It is the white crowned sparrows! I finally caught 2 of them red-handed (beaked?) today. They've never done this before. Wonder why after 10 years they decided they needed greens in their diet??? They have plenty of bird seed. Now to figure out how to cover things to keep them out so my plants can grow!

We have lots of cats in the area. Besides the 4 rescues that are indoors, there are at least 4 ferals stopping by to eat in the shed. We also have rabbits. They're very good at making themselves invisible unless you see them move. I've nearly stepped on them without seeing them.d ----- Original Message ----- From: "Theresa G." <macycat3@sbcglobal.net> To: <gardenchat@hort.net> Sent: Tuesday, January 06, 2009 10:37 PM Subject: Re: [CHAT] something is eating my veggies!I've never seen a rabbit here.
