Re: tv

Thanks Cyndi, just making sure. I had set money aside for a new tv, but with the mortgage mess, there's a good chance I'll be out of a job by May, so I want to hold on to the money. I've applied for a few other county jobs for which I'd be well qualified but I don't even get a call. However, I had the unprecedented opportunity to help out in the auditor's office at the turn of the year and they told me they have an opening. Since I had the chance to show my stuff, I might have a chance there even though I'm not that well qualified. If it works out, maybe I'll get the tv.

Shouldn't make any difference. Your signal is coming through the cable,
it doesn't matter what box is hooked up after that.

Yes, we all are aware of tv changing next month. I have cable and they
say
we don't have to do a thing; the old tvs will be fine without a
converter.
But I was just wondering...what about my vcr? The cable comes into my
vcr
which is then connected to the tv. I got it 10 yrs ago, it's analog.
Would
the vcr work w a digital signal? If not...would it work if the cable
went
first to the tv and then the tv connected to vcr so it could tape what's
on
the screen rather than the transmission?
