RE: tv

Well if you want to be positive you could call the cable company. But
everything I read says if you have an analog TV hooked up to cable, you
don't have to do anything. I am extrapolating from that to say if you
have an analog VCR hooked up to cable, you're still okay.
I hope your job situation works out okay, I'll keep my fingers crossed
for you. This economic mess is hurting an awful lot of folks. Amongst
our nieces and nephews there are two layoffs and probably more coming.

Thanks Cyndi, just making sure. I had set money aside for a new tv, but

with the mortgage mess, there's a good chance I'll be out of a job by
May,
so I want to hold on to the money. I've applied for a few other county
jobs
for which I'd be well qualified but I don't even get a call. However, I
had
the unprecedented opportunity to help out in the auditor's office at the

turn of the year and they told me they have an opening. Since I had the

chance to show my stuff, I might have a chance there even though I'm not

that well qualified. If it works out, maybe I'll get the tv.
