No I'm not OK. I'm sick of this crap. It's supposed to be in the 50's here.
:-(  I have a heat pump (sorry things) so anything below 28 and it's a
struggle for it to keep up. My power bill is going to be $500. OK, enough
whining. I'm fine. Just really irritable. The temps are supposed to go back
up at the end of the week. 

I hope the citrus crops come through OK. I'm afraid they won't.

I remember the winter of 1951-52 when I was working at the Naval
Station in Pensacola, Fla., that the temperature dropped to 8 degrees.
That was cold!  The hot water tank in the apartment I rented froze and
burst.  The pipes under the kitchen floor froze and burst, and when 
it warmed up the kitchen floor was flooded. The Naval Station sent 
people home because the buildings couldn't keep the heat up, but
those of us who were sent home didn't have sufficient heat when we
got there.  My apartment was heated with one small gas fire unit.
It was 7 degrees here last night, but believe me, we were much more
comfortable than I was in Pensacola that winter.
