The weather around the holidays from winter storm goliath certainly was terrible.
The trip from Evergreen Colorado to Valparaiso, Indiana where my Folks have lived for 22 years was great for December. But I did notice even on Dec 18th that the rivers were high in Iowa and Illinois. Returning home we took I 70 thru southern Illinois and Missouri. They were in flood. Scary rivers and streams and creeks. No tornados though.

Subject: [CHAT] I thought it would be fun for everyone to check inI have been thinking about Pam…. I hope you are ok after all the storms. Garland got hit so hard! I thought it would be good on this last day of the year if everyone could check in and let us all know how you are doing.I am in Gainesville, Ga. We moved here to be closer to our daughter and 2 of our granddaughters. We are renting a VRBO on Lake Lanier, beautiful place to live but we can’t stay after June. It gets to expensive! Any advice on where we should go next? My husband just has to live near an airport so he can fly out every week. Atlanta has been great but traffic to the airport is more than he wants again. We have been thinking around Bastrop, Texas and he could fly out of Austin. Any advice on that one? We have lived in Houston and was great being near my sister and brother but the traffic to the airports was hard on Don. I would love your advice, there are so many great places to live!Happy New Year!!!Patricia Dickson
