I understand…. we moved from Weatherford, Ok where we had been for 16 years and I miss all my friends but not the weather.  
We are still trying to figure out where we can afford to live and have a
nice life in retirement, if we ever get to retire with SS and the stock
market not where we can depend on them.

What do you love about CA?  I love where my sister lives in Santa Barbara but don’t think we could afford to live there.
