selby sale

I received this from Jim Singer. If you're interested, write him at

next saturday--7/12--marie selby botanical garden will hold its summer
plant sale. this is a member-only event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. kind of
snobby, i think. but they will have a wide variety of tropicals for sale
at--um--reasonable prices. i will go to the sale. if anyone is interested
in having me "shop" for them, let me know. i'm open to collecting
size/price/quality information for comparison to ebay offerings. i'm not
open, however, to trying to figure out all of size/price/quality stuff on
orchid species--hey, this is supposed to be fun, not work.
