Re: fireworks NOW flooding

Wow - 13 inches?? Have mercy. And tornado "season" per se is over, but
tornadoes happen 12 months a year here. The worst one I've been in was
in Waxahachie on President's Day. Got up, heard the roar, rain was too
heavy to see, so I just got back in bed, pulled a pillow over my head
and went back to sleep. When I woke up the second time - the church
right across the highway was nothing but splinters. A close call. Boy
what a mess. I wasn't in Texas 3 weeks when I saw my first one. Was
heading straight toward Midland.

I ran to the kitchen to look for the grocery bag I remembered seeing
that had tornado tips on it (I had no clue what to do coming from the
East Coast). By the time I found that damn bag, it was gone. Oh well,
gave me something to do.

Dumb luck. Small wonder my mother says I have more lives than 10 cats....
