The 3 that I kept - sold the others in April plant sale - are all doing 
fine in a somewhat raised bed.  They've put on new growth but are still 
short, about 10 inches high.  This is normal.  they'll shoot up soon 
enough.  there hasn't been a lot of sun to draw them upward yet.    The 
important thing is that they are in the ground.  in the past if I kept 
them in the pots too long they just sat there and moped.  but once they 
are in the ground they start growing.  The cats keep nibbling on them 
but won't be able to keep up with them.  When they get taller I'll pin 
some blades to the growund so they'll root new plants at the nodes.
