RE: Sad News NOW A Good Laugh
My sympathies too Zem. I'm still watching my cat. I think she is existing
on Prednisone alone- she gets is everyday. Some days she's OK, others she
just sleeps for almost 24 hrs straight. She doens't seem in pain, so we
just watch and wait.
On a happier note- my sister has transferred her two cats to my mom's care
(just down the street). The cats just love my mom and my mom needs
something with her in the house to give her something to keep her busy (she
has early stages of Alzheimers). My mom's cat died about 2 months ago (it
was 22 years old), and she initially said she didn't want another cat- but
my sister convinced her otherwise. The first day, my mom was really worried
because one of the cats wouldn't come out from under the couch, but by the
next day they both were lounging comfortably in the livingroom and loving
the peace and quiet (they probably were wondering what took so long to save
them from the house with 2 crazy toddlers!)

Zem, sorry to hear about your cat, I know I'd be very upset if something
happened to the old fat thing that hangs out here named Sam.
