Re: tonight


Well, I haven't done it since my college days.  Even then I was only able to
do it because my sister's boyfriend was the instructor and he lent me the
equipment.  The only thing I had to pay for was the plane - $5 per jump.
I don't think of parachuting and traveling as similar things.  Yes, you do
go from points a to b, but generally it can be done from a local airfield.

There are several reasons I don't like to travel, but the main one has only
recently occurred to me.  It makes me very anxious.  Every trip I have made
since college has been fraught with anxieties of one kind or another.  Every
trip was spoiled in some way.  I have never had a really good time on a
vacation since I was 22.  So why go?
