Hi Godi! How ya doin?
We have a beautiful Stewartia here, but it's more of a small tree. I tried
RHS and came up with
Stewartia malacodendron, Silky Camellia (AGM)
Stewartia ovata, Mountain Camellia
Stewartia pseudocamellia, Deciduous Camellia (AGM)
That last species, pseudocamellia, sounds like what you might want.
