Re: question of the night


Well, my most impressive plant was my Glaucidium, but your nursery isn't
going to have it.  The Actaea 'Hillside Black Beauty' is pretty nice.  As I
mentioned several times, Silene 'Clifford Moor' was a real winner.  For
shrubs, Syringa 'Josee', a repeat blooming lilac from France did quite well,
as did my Oakleaf Hydrangea.  2 other Hydrangeas that are quite nice are
H.paniculata 'Kyushu' and H. pan. 'Pink Diamond'.  Fairly quick growing,
very hardy, quite floriferous and dependable.
