4th of July weekend

Hope everyone had time to spend with friends, enjoy the holiday, eat bbq,
and all the other holiday wishes.

I had three days off in a row!

Managed to make a huge dent in working in the yard along with socializing at
night. Man am I tired!

Both beds that have been cleaned out- ok, some started the weed thing again,
but got the soil turned amended, planted, mulched and watered...DH decided
to expand the one bed thru the fence and made this much larger than I
imagined at 4AM while I was sleeping... Looks a tad spars, but will fill out
and in the long run turn out better.

They promised a cool weekend- yah right, maybe for Pam, but I was dieing out
there, blasting myself with the hose to keep cool!

Today they promised bad thunderstorms... yeah right- not a drop! Rich, just
a tad south please...missed them by maybe 10-15 miles north of me. I feel
sorry for those effected, although we need the rain, some were very
damaging, power out, trees down, you know the routine.

Anyways, a couple more weekends and I will be done with the remodeling of
the yard... sort of, DH still hasn't worked on that darn train layout!

So what did everyone else do?
