Sorry I wasn't clear on the toadlilies. They appear to be babies -- not miniatures. They are in an area where there are a number of 'grownups.' I've just never had them come up this way before. In the past there were just more regular sized ones coming up in the spring. These are still quite small, but they are growing. I'd be happy to send you some if you're still interested.

Ooh! miniature toadlilies! A friend gave me a miniature hosta that's
bloomiong now. I paired it up with miniature Solomon's seal that someone
else gave me. If, down the line after they are established and begin to
multiply, you have a mini toadlily to spare I'd love to trade you something
for one.
Sounds like Otis is flourishing. Of course, how could he not at your place?

That's okay, Chris. I knew what you were talking about. I'm just too discombobulated to be very clever right now. Having a new puppy is like having a new baby -- a fact I failed to remember when I got Otis. He's doing really well, though -- no accidents yet. He went to the vetyesterdayfor his final puppy shots. He now weighs 25 pounds. According to the vet
he will weigh about 50 pounds when he is full grown.
When walking around the yard this afternoon I checked on what I thought
werebaby miniature hostas. Well, they are not. They do appear to be babytoadlilies, which would thrill me no end. There are a lot of them. My calla lilies had dozens of babies this year. They came up in a clump, and Ijustrecently spaced them around a large area. I still have so much to do.
Everything is going crazy -- especially the Bermuda grass in the flower
beds!
