It crashed out. And didn't make cuttings. I may stick it in the ground at the base of the same tree and see if I can get a second vine crawling up. Not sure it's savable, however.

So did it crash out of the pine or did you have to climb up there to cut it
out?
And knowing you, were you able to make cuttings out of the downed pieces?

There was a bit of damage, after all. We have a large pothos [Epipremnum aureum] vine climbing a tall slash pine in the back yard. The vine is about the thickness of my wrist. There was a part of it that was 15 or so feet off the ground with several large [2-1/2 foot] leaves. That part of the vine got snapped off. Here's a picture of part of what's left. http://hort.net/+12Pu Yep, it's the same vine that's sold as a house plant up north. Given a chance, however, it really grows large. have gotten that close thank goodness.

No loses. It was brief, pea sized, but enough to briefly turn the

was just weird.

Island JimYou didn't lose anything I hope! Hail is bad. It's one of the reasons homeowners insurance is so high here. On 7/16/05, Donna <gossiper@sbcglobal.net> wrote:Did you move and forget to mention it? Hail storm in Florida?!? Is
this due

Sorry about your plants... I would imagine it could destroy a lot of
tropical stuff there...
