I'm glad it went well.
Please don't overdo it, even though you're anxious to get moving. Even though the holes aren't big, they did a lot of fussing around in there, and excessive movement can cause another hitch in your giddyup. (Been there, done that. Apparently the bruising inside can cause uneven, rough spots if you move too much. )
There's a reason for all of those bandages! I'm convinced that the reason is mostly to make you rest. ;-)

MG garden talk in our Demo garden last evening. Getting around well with the
use of one crutch. It is a bit stiff this morning. I get to shower today &
chg the bandage. I am wrapped above the knee to my ankle & appears to be
miles of wrap. I'm anxious to have a look. I go back to the dr on the 12th &
guess he will remove the stitches then. I am ready to get moving again!
