Sorry to disappoint, but I do have a favorite Thai restaurant, and still don't like any pork. To me is has a very distinct flavor, which in my mouth is yucky. Glad others like it, but it's not for me. Any dish that can be made with pork, can always be made tastier with some other meat in my experience.

Interesting about pork, Theresa. I don't care for it very much unless it's cured--ham. bacon, hocks. Two big exceptions, however. One is carnitas [usually a loin that is roasted, bar-be-qued, then pulled] and the other is lard.
