Re: hybrids
Hmmm!
I am not sure how to respond...I did not buy my Honda Civic Hybrid for
the rebates...I guess I wanted to walk the walk for the planet. As for
power, I drive up and down 2000 ft elevation change daily and my Honda has
as much power as my 89 Subaru 4 cyl front wheel drive. So I do not feel that
I gave up anything. As for the gas mileage, the current tank has 380 miles
on it and 56 mph according to the meter. (maybe it lies???) I could check my
written records. Longevity...who knows...and who really keeps their cars to
300,000 miles. One of my friends has a Tercell 4wd that has over 300,000
miles, my Subaru has 232,000 miles so who knows what the Honda or Prius will
do.
