No odd captions, just the fact that I had accidentally marked them private at yahoo and never got around to changing them to public. No big deal. Heck, I don't even know which ones they are.

Have they got odd descriptions or captions? Like "naked ladies" or "how to bite off a chicken's head"? Otherwise, I can't imagine the intervention. If they're important, I guess you could always delete them from flicker and re-import them [may have to change their names]. But it's easy to see why Yahoops doesn't have a lot of friends.

Note the last part, Jim. When I used their tool, the 149 became public. And now they say 14(not 7) STAY private. Thiose are the ones I wondered about.

They said all of mine would be marked private, but I could change that if I wished, that there's some sort of batch program to change those settings, which they will tell me about when the transfer is complete. I'm trying to figure out how Yahoops is going to make money from this change. From my viewpoint, the old album system was fine--so they must see a big payoff from this somewhere.
