Re: Smoke gets in my eyes

Sorry to be so long in replying. This having two non-consecutive days off is hard to get used to. Anyway, yes, I've grown Husker Red in the past. It lasted a few years then went away. This year I've got "Electric Blue" and a beautiful rose color whose name I've already forgotten. :o) I'm doing better on the yard than I am inside the house -- it's a real mess.

Hi Zem,
Have you tried a penstemon called Husker Red? It along with a bunch more penstemons was bred by a guy at the North Platte NE agriculture school.

That dog is not affected by anything. He has the most easy going personality -- except when it comes to being socialized... <LOL>

BTW, I just got 2 new penstemons, 'Cathedral Rose' and 'Electric Blue.' I certainly don't need any more plants, but how can I water them every day at work and not bring them home?

What the heck is so special about making noise? I've never liked loud
noises. And it makes my cat a nervous wreck. I just don't "get it" -
sorry. A better way to celebrate Independence Day would be to do something civic minded. Saturday I'll go down and help the gal w/ the festivities at the park, same gal who runs the feed store, so she's got her hands full and
not too many volunteers.

I never turn completely over, just side to side. I tuck the ipod under my pillow. I usually rouse enough to turn it off & take out the earbuds after a
few hours, but sometimes it's still on when my alarm goes off in the
morning.

?? What happens when you turn over during the night? Aren't you afraid of
strangling yourself?
;+)

Oh, I'm with you on the noise. I'm working all weekend Fri-Mon, and it's hard to get to sleep with that noise. I'll make sure my iPod is charged
and
sleep with the earbuds in. Maybe that will help.
