RE: OT - 5.8 quake in SO CA?

Yep that's about 75 miles from here. Those of us on the upper floors
felt it very strongly, but I ran into a few people that didn't feel it
at all; if you were walking around it might not have even registered.
Lasted quite a long time, it was probably 30 seconds.
I was just looking at the USGS site, they've already registered 36000
people who reported feeling it. Pretty cool.
