I used to have Mozilla and it worked pretty well. When I have time I might look into an alternative. Thanks for the suggestion. As for Billy, when I got mad at Google I decided to try Bing. Not impressed.

Because I am genetically paranoid, and knowing that Greedy Billy wants to compete in the search engine business, I wonder if your trouble is not Google gone amok, but Explorer. Maybe it's time to switch to Firefox [or whatever it's called]. On Jul 3, 2009, at 5:06 PM, Kitty wrote:I know I've said it b4, but I hate upgrades. This morning Win Explorer 8 jumped on board, and though it doesn't cause any real problems (so far) I really dislike the way it grays out most of the web address, making black only one word. But what's really ticking me this time is Google. Idid NOT upgrade to a new Google thing they kept pushing because I didn't know what would happen. I was just fine w/out it. But they still changed things on me. I googled "currency conversion calculator" and got: Results: 1-10 of about 9,050,000 Sounds good but they will only allow me to look at ONE - which is something google wants to add to my igoogle toolbar - a toolbar I don't have & don't want.. I could click on a right hand sidebar of sponsored links, which of course I don't want. I don't want to buy anything I just want the exchange rate for a euro. The largest portion of the search list page is totally BLANK. Obviously this can't be right. So I scroll and scroll until I'm past the sponsored links and THERE they are. I cannot immediately see my results until I first look at what goolge and it's sponsors have to offer. Why does everyone want to slap another toolbar on my screen? I currently have NINE available of which I allow 4 to show and that takes up 20% of my screen as it is with small icons.
